Cherry Cricket is where friends, families and out-of-towners have been going for burgers and their brew of choice since 1945. 
 
We’re a Denver institution because we serve up the best appetizers, sides, entrees and award-winning burgers with a “welcome home, now sit down and enjoy” attitude. For 80 years now, we've continued to fill bellies with the city's favorite burgers paired with Colorado made beers. The memories made at the Cricket are just as important as the amazing food we serve. The Cricket is a place where a delicious burger, a cold beer, and good friends will always be waiting. 
 
We are thrilled to open our fourth location in Broomfield this summer, and we are now hiring part-time and full-time Food Runner / Bussers!

The Food Runner/Busser contributes to an exceptional dining experience by setting up dining room areas, cleaning tables, removing dirty dishes, replacing table silverware, setting tables and servicing items to guests such as water, coffee, and condiments. The Food Runner/Busser maintains cleanliness, sanitization, and organization throughout the building. Ultimately, the Food Runner/Busser will ensure our daily operations run smoothly and our guests have the best dining experience. 
 
Pay starting at $11.79 per hour plus tips! 
 
Food Runner/Busser Responsibilities 
  • Prepare dining areas before guests are seated to include cleaning and sanitizing all surfaces
  • Provide tableware and condiments for guests
  • Serve water and refill beverages for the guest
  • Take orders to the table and deliver all items in a timely manner to the correct guest
  • Check with guests to ensure they are enjoying their meal, promptly address issues with a positive attitude and refer guests to management when necessary
  • Maintain a working knowledge of food and drink menu items, promotions, ingredients, and prep time
  • Remove dirty utensils and replenish, as needed
  • Clean and reset tables after guests leave
  • Collaborate with other restaurant staff
  • Maintain health and safety regulations throughout all kitchen and dining areas
  • Clean and stock items throughout the restaurant to include condiment stations
  • Remain guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
  • Train other employees
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications and Requirements
 
  • Prior work experience as a Busser, Food Runner, or Host within a restaurant is a plus
  • Ability to stay on your feet for an extended period of time and lift up to 25 lbs unassisted
  • Ability to multitask while remaining calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of hygiene, sanitation and food safety rules
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends, evenings, days, and holidays is highly desired
